Woman tour

13days/12 nights

The tour is made for those ladies who would like not only to admire architectural beauty of Uzbekistan, but also to enjoy local family traditions and customs. During the tour we shall arrange for you interesting meetings with local ladies, who are talented craftswoman, businesswoman and also housewives. Family dinners with cooking together, long conversations around traditional dastarkhan (traditional space where food is eaten) will help to find out a lot about important role of Uzbek ladies in local society. 

  

Tashkent-Khiva-Bukhara - Nurata-Samarkand-Tashkent

Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent

Pick-up at the international airport in Tashkent, transfer to hotel and check in. Dinner. Overnight at the 4 * hotel 

Day 2: Tashkent-Urgench-Khiva
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day of sightseeing in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Visit: the Khast-Imom Complex, the Museum of Applied Arts and the Medresse Kukeldash with Chorsu market. In the afternoon transfer to the airport for the flight to Urgench and upon arrival transfer to Khiva (30 km). Dinner. Overnight at a 3 * hotel. 

Day 3: Khiva
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing program includes: Minaret Kalta Minor, Kunja-Ark Fortress, Tosh-Khovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, Mukhammed Rakhim Khan Medresse, Juma Mosque and etc. Dinner.
Overnight at a 3 * hotel. 

Special events in Khiva:
Dinner with Uzbek women in a traditional family house. 

Day 4: Khiva-Bukhara
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Bukhara (450 km.) Nearly 300 km of the route goes through the desert Kyzylkum (translated as "Red Sand"), lunch picnic in the desert. Dinner in Bukhara. Overnight at a 3 * hotel. 

Day 5: Bukhara
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day sightseeing in Bukhara: mausoleum of the Samanids, mausoleum Choshma Ayub and Ark citadel. After lunch, also visit Minaret Kalan and Juma mosque, trading domes and ancient Synagogue. Dinner. Overnight at a 3 * hotel. 

Day 6: Bukhara
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue sightseeing: the summer palace of the last Emir of
Bukhara - Sitora Mokhi Khosa, the Mausoleum of Bagoutdin Nakshbandi. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner. Overnight at a 3 * hotel. 

Special events in Bukhara:
Women's sauna (Khammom) with massage
Folkore show at the Nadir Divan Begi Medrese
Visit ladies's medrese 

Day 7: Bukhara - Nurata Yurt Camp
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Nurata (180 km). Sightseeing in Nurata: Juma Mosque and the fortress of Alexander the Great. Transfer to the yurt camp (80 km). Camel ride on request. Dinner. Overnight in the yurt. 

Day 8: Yurt Camp - Samarkand
Breakfast at the yurt camp. Transfer to Samarkand (300 km). Samarkand will impress you with its fundamental and magnificent architecture from the era of the Timurids. After lunch, visit Registan Square - the heart of Samarkand and the most beautiful place in Central Asia. Dinner. Overnight at a 3 * hotel. 

Day 9: Samarkand
Breakfast in the hotel. Sightseeing program in Samarkand: Ulugbek Observatory, Afrosiyob history museum, Mosque Bibi Khanum and Shakhi Zinda Necropolis. Dinner.Overnight at a 3 * hotel. 

Day 10: Samarkand
Breakfast at the hotel. Go on a sightseeing tour: Gur-Emir Mausoleum, oriental bazaar Chor-Su. Leisure time in the afternoon. Dinner. Overnight at a 3 * hotel. 

Special events in Samarkand:
Visit a traditional Uzbek family house
(Including participation in the preparation of the Uzbek national dish - Pilaw and Fladenbrot)
Paper manufacture (from the bark of the mulberry tree)
Visit Valentina Romanenko, fashion designer
Wine tasting in wine cellar

Day 11: Samarkand-Tashkent
Breakfast in the hotel. Free time until lunch in Samarkand. Drive to Tashkent (330 km) in the afternoon. Dinner. Overnight at the 4 * hotel 

Day 12: Tashkent
Breakfast in the hotel. Before lunch, your program includes: Tashkent Underground, Independence Square and Art Museum. 

Special Events in Tashkent:
Meeting with Uzbek businesswomen.

Day 13: Departure from Uzbekistan
